![]() ![]() Now, speaking to the women of Chi Omega, I wanted to thank you all for making me feel so welcomed and accepted as your ‘House Mom’. Their dedication to the chapter and their willingness to fulfill their duties is lovely to behold. In my observations I have never witnessed any of them speaking ill of each other. They all genuinely care for each other and seem to really like and respect each other as well. I also wanted to take a minute to share my impression of these young ladies. In a day and age of selfies and social media it is so refreshing and gives me great hope for our future to see such commitment. I tend to stroll through the house with a big smile on my face as I see them studying for exams that are often weeks away. It never ceases to amaze me how committed they all are to the pursuit of academic excellence. I wanted to take some time out of my day to write a personal letter to the girls in the Zeta Beta Chapter of Chi Omega and express to all of you how very grateful I am to be their House Director. I am eternally grateful for Zeta Beta and the opportunities the chapter has given me.Ĭhi Omega is not just for four years in college, it is for a lifetime. I would have never imagined going through recruitment my freshman year would have brought me my best friends, amazing connections, and memories that I will cherish forever. It is my most tremendous honor and privilege to be able to serve and represent this amazing group of women. ![]() The kindness they show to one another and those in our Arizona community makes me immensely proud to be a part of this organization. From their involvement in clubs on campus to their drive to succeed in their academics, and to the friendships they work so hard to foster, these women truly symbolize what it means to be a Chi Omega. Since then, Chi Omega has grown to have 181 chapters across the country with over 360,000 initiated members.įor 101 years now, the Zeta Beta chapter continues to have members that embody these six purposes in everything they do. My name is Heather Miller and I am the 2023 President of the Zeta Beta chapter of Chi Omega at the University of Arizona.Ĭhi Omega was founded in 1895 at the University of Arkansas on our 6 purposes of Friendship, Personal Integrity, Service to Others, Academic Excellence and Intellectual Pursuits, Community and Campus Involvement, and Personal and Career Development.
